I found myself slowing down as I read this. The idea that care isn't just something we do but a way of paying attention really stayed with me. I also loved the reminder that some of the most important things in life can't be measured because they happen inside relationships. This was such a thoughtful conversation. Exactly! And if we don't practice ways of paying attention to those groups, we just lose the ability to be attuned to their needs entirely. It's something we need to actively choose to maintain and sharpen.
